WELCOME TO THE Museum of Illusions Cape Town

Went to the Museum of Illusions Cape Town today with two teenagers and honestly… I didn’t expect to have that much fun.

The place messes with your brain in the best way possible. One minute you feel tall, the next minute you’re tiny. Floors look straight but suddenly you’re walking like you’ve had three glasses of wine. The mirror rooms alone are worth the visit.

What I loved most is that it’s not one of those “look but don’t touch” museums. You actually interact with everything. The kids were laughing, posing, trying to figure out how the tricks work, and of course taking about 300 photos.

The staff were also really great, friendly, helpful and happy to explain the illusions or help you get the perfect photo.

It’s such a cool outing if you want something different to do in Cape Town, especially with teenagers who are normally impossible to impress.

We walked out confused, entertained, and with phones full of the weirdest photos ever.

Definitely worth it.
