WELCOME TO THE Museum of Illusions Cape Town

Loved that I didn’t have to wait to experience the illusions . Two or three staffs are allocated to each activity making it very easy to access and take quality pictures .it was fast and fun . I love it . You are required to pay a fee to be able to access it .

If you want to be fascinated by how your brain can play visual tricks on you, spend an hour or two at Cape Town's newly opened Museum of Optical Illusions in Kloof Street, Tamboerskloof. The opening display is a large face of Nelson Mandela with his eyes mysteriously following your every move. You then enter a mind-boggling world of mirrors, colours, patterns and lights which conjure up fun and captivating optical illusions. It is a selfie paradise as you pose with your head on a platter, fall from a building or float in space. The R250 entry fee is a bit pricey but it is good, clean, educational fun for young and old alike. My guide, Vuyi Zamxaka, who hails from Dutywa in the Eastern Cape, earned a good tip by taking me through each exhibit.

Had a blast with the fam..Amazing, passionate staff that clearly enjoyed helping us through the whole experience. Recommend this to absolutely anyone.
